Feige FILLING drum filling machines for every industry
Equipment for the safe and precise filling of drums
Whether your products are noncritical, foaming, or flammable, Feige FILLING has the filling technology to match. Every drum filler works on the same proven principle: drums arrive empty, clean, and closed, and leave clean, closed, and filled to calibrated accuracy — whether they are processed as a single drum or arranged on a pallet.
Each machine is made up of two components: the filling valve and the weigh scale. Filling runs in a coarse fill/fine fill mode, with the flow restricted at the end — via a two-stage or analogue valve setting — to stay within calibration error limits. The result is precise, safe filling, regardless of your product's properties.
Modern filling equipment is essential for this kind of work. Choose a customized solution built to fit the way you already work."

Feige FILLING drum filling machines include torque monitoring of the sealing caps during automatic drum filling to prioritize safety and accuracy. Our torque monitoring unit checks the specified target torques, which vary depending on container or plug.
An evaluation of the measurement curve facilitates the reliable detection of errors, such as missing bunghole seals or wedged plugs. In case an error is detected, a drum that has not been correctly closed is automatically rejected.
Thanks to the FEIGE torque monitoring unit, closing of the sealing caps is carried out accurately and in accordance with the specifications, which greatly contributes to the quality assurance during automatic filling.
Our ATEX versions - something you can rely on
Explosion protection, also known as Ex protection, refers to a number of measures that are taken to mitigate the risk of explosions in environments where combustible gases, flammable liquids such as varnishes or solvents as well as their fumes, mists or dusts are present. The main objective is to protect both the employees and the equipment against potential explosions. Explosion protection is particularly critical in certain branches of industry such as the chemical industry, the oil and gas industry, in refineries as well as in the pharmaceutical industry.
Our core competence: the filling valve
FEIGE filling machines convince with their outstanding components: the filling valve and the weigh scale.
With the FEIGE filling valve you can fill your liquid and viscous products in a precise and flexible manner, either proportionally or in several stages. The filling operation is carried out in the well-proven coarse fill/fine fill mode, enabling an individual adjustment of the fine fill, depending on the product. To ensure that calibration error limits are observed, the volumetric flow is precisely restricted at the end of filling by a two-stage or analogue setting of the filling valve.
The filling valve is dimensioned according to your requirements with regard to filling opening, viscosity and volumetric flow. High grade materials such as stainless steel (1.4571/316Ti), Hastelloy, PVDF and coatings ensure the reliability of the filling valve. Heatable filling valves that are equipped with overflow protections are available for different areas of application.
Equipment features
- Quick-action stainless steel filling valve mount
- Hygienic, self-adjusting PTFE ring seal
- Bellows made from stainless steel or PTFE
- Valve tip and opening methods according to product requirements
- Precise, clean and splash-free filling method
- Easy and efficient cleaning without dismounting
- Minimum of dead spaces
As a rule, FEIGE filling valves are compensated so that the product pressure inside the valve does not influence the opening or closing behaviour. Pressurised filling valves cannot open spontaneously, thus increasing safety. Cleaning the FEIGE filling valves is easy and efficient as it is possible at any time without dismounting the valves. All components and seals are designed so that the filling valve is low of any dead spaces. The product hose is either connected directly without intermediate flange or in a flexible manner by means of any of the flange systems available on the market to suit your requirements or standards.
The properties of your product and the container type determine the filling mode
Which filling mode do you need?
High viscosities, viscous products or highly fluid foodstuff, construction materials or chemicals necessitate different filling modes. Feige FILLING provides in-depth advice to help you find the right filling mode for your product and container type.
