Feige FILLING pioneer in 3D plant visualisation

Guided by the right intuition for innovations, the No. 1 in the field of filling technology is also one step ahead when it comes to digital system design. Already at an early stage, FEIGE FILLING relied on Factory Design, the photorealistic 3D visualisation of factory buildings and is years ahead of the industry in this field.
Interested companies therefore source their information from the pioneer.

Thus, last December the company from Bad Oldesloe welcomed approximately
60 representatives from the field of systems engineering to introduce the application and advantages of Factory Design to them. Thanks to digital development, it is for the first time possible to visualise a planned machine photorealistically and accurately on mobile terminals with CAD applications – e.g. on iPads or tablet computers. Graphic representations on paper are a thing of the past.

Thus, the party ordering a machine is involved in every step right from the word go and can be sure that its desires and requirements will be accurately implemented. In addition, a digital 2D plan of the production hall makes it possible to adapt the future equipment to the intended surroundings already in advance, allowing the customer to conveniently browse through his hall with the new machine.

Already in 2002, Feige FILLING gradually began to convert to 3D. Then, the new Factory Design was demonstrated for the first time in November 2011, initially even in the face of internal resistance: "The product first had to prove itself at Feige FILLING," explains IT expert Thomas Schnell, together with Marcell Ceslowsky one of the market leader's carriers of know-how when it comes to Factory Design. He leads interested visitors from other companies through the digital factory visualisation, explains the options and also gives lectures on the topic. Almost every month, other companies are calling in at Bad Oldesloe.

At the same time, Feige FILLING cooperates very closely with the manufacturer Autodesk, on whose digital solutions the company from Bad Oldesloe has already been relying since 1991. Even Autodesk benefits from the unique Factory Design knowledge Feige FILLING has acquired over the years and has continued to increase during practical application: Following a lecture at the Autodesk University in Darmstadt, Thomas Schnell and Marcell Ceslowsky were now even invited to the USA by the partner company.
