FEIGE team spirit - Successful start of the season for our dragon boat team!

After the team "FEIGE POWER" emerged victorious (!) from the 14th dragon boat race in Lübeck in summer 2016, the 1st indoor competition offered a new challenge!

Admittedly, a dragon boat race in an indoor sport swimming pool sounded a bit strange. But actually, it is a large tug of war. The aim is to manoeuvre the boat across the target mark in one's own direction of travel. For this, a distance of approximately five metres needs to be accomplished.

Although "FEIGE POWER" won the first race and thus could count a successful start in its favour, the lacking training sessions took their toll from race to race. In the following races, the team had to admit defeat.

At the end, they came in 4th – and the FEIGE team is very satisfied with this achievement. The fighting spirit has been kindled and for next year, the leisure paddlers declare: "Now we know what it takes! We will be able to improve on this outcome!
