After filling, a membrane is sealed on the pail to protect the filled product.
The pail sealer is suitable for round, oval or square pails with a continuous sealing rim.
Format range:
Membrane width up to 360 mm
Pail height 100 mm to 400 mm
Round pails diameter 130 mm to 320 mm
Oval/square pails short side min. 130 mm
long side max. 320 mm
Sealing head with centring plate necessary for each sealing rim geometry
Function:
A centring plate with an opening according to the pail geometry descends on the pail edge. The sealing membrane is guided above the centring plate via guide pulleys. The sealing head is pressed on the membrane and seals the membrane on the sealing rim. At the same time, a cutter cuts the membrane beside the sealing rim. After sealing, the sealing head and the centring plate are lifted and membrane feed is effected by one unit. Membrane waste is wound up.
Adjustment/resetting:
Quick exchange of sealing head and centring plate without tools. Easy adjustment to different pail heights by electric drive unit. Sealing temperature, pressure and time as well as membrane feed can be adjusted.
